Wild-card playoff Monday to determine Phils' opponent

The Milwaukee Brewers rallied past San Diego, and a few hours later Colorado held on to defeat Arizona... and so the Rockies and Padres will face off Monday to determine who gets to play the Phillies in the NLDS.

(It's still freakin' WEIRD to be writing such things. But wonderful.)

Jake Peavy, held out of the game today in favor of Brett Tomko in a questionable decision by Bud Black, will start the play-in game for San Diego. Josh Fogg goes for the Rockies.

The Phils get the wild-card winner because of the MLB rule that that the wild-card can't play the champ of their division--meaning that the Diamondbacks and Cubs will face off in the other NLDS.
