The Phillies head to Cincinnati after a four game sweep of the scuffling Washington Nationals for a three game mid-week series against the Reds.
In what promises to be a good pitching matchup, Cole Hamels will go for the Phillies (20-16) against young Reds (20-17) right-hander Johnny Cueto, who is off to an excellent start in 2009 (1.93 ERA in seven starts).
The Reds may be without their best hitter, Joey Votto, who missed five games with the flu and was removed from the Reds game on Saturday due to dizziness. Hopefully it's nothing too serious and he can get back on the field.
