Let's Keep It Going, Twins at Phillies Game Thread, June 19, 2010

Continuing the theme from the game recap post last night, consider this:

May 22 through June 7 (15 games): 29 runs, 4-11 record

June 13 through June 18 (5 games): 30 runs, 4-1 record

The Phillies are on a mini-roll, and they look to keep it going this afternoon. Cole Hamels is back on the mound, looking to continue his 2010 resurgence. The Phillies sluggers, who actually have lived up to that appellation recently, face Kevin Slowey, a right-hander who's putting together a pretty decent season for the Twins.

And don't look now, but the Phillies are actually 5-5 in interleague play so far this year, and that's against some pretty good AL teams.

In 90 degree sunny weather, they'll look to win their 4th in a row and 5th in the last 6.

Discuss the game below.
