Here are the important stats for all of the current probables for our upcoming road trip. As always, some are just educated guesses. For instance, there's about a 50/50 shot that Vance Worley will start one of the weekend games rather than Kyle Kendrick. But I went ahead and put Kendrick's stats in, since Worley basically has no stats worth typing up anyway.
Meanwhile, it is downright unlikely that Josh Johnson will, in fact, pitch for the Marlins on Wednesday. He was examined by the Marlins' medical staff yesterday and was diagnosed with both shoulder inflammation and a back strain. Under the circumstances, the Marlins would have to be idiots not to shut him down for the rest of the season. But they haven't made a final decision yet, so we'll have to wait and see. If Johnson doesn't pitch, we'll probably face some scrub from their AAA team like Brian Lawrence, who was once a competent pitcher during Dubya Bush's first term, but was last seen around these parts getting pummeled in the opening game of the Phils' memorable August 27-30, 2007 series against the Mets. But Lawrence has no major league stats this year (or any year since 2007), so Johnson's stats are in there as a placeholder.
Lefthanders are indicated with an asterisk.
