I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that the Phillies will be trotting out a certified top-of-the rotation starter in the fourth game of the season, after throwing Halladay, Lee, and Oswalt at the last team they faced. These are strange times we're living in.
The Mets will send 6'10" Princeton Alum Chris Young to the hill. He missed most of last season with a shoulder injury. He was a pretty decent pitcher in his day, but pitching the majority of his innings in spacious Petco Park as a Padre from 2006 to 2010 might have impacted his numbers: 3.80/4.22/4.65 (ERA/FIP/xFIP).
