Redbird Surprise: Phillies at Cardinals Game Thread, May 16, 2011

New, comments

Tony LaRussa is back in the Cardinals dugout after suffering from shingles in his eyeball, and of course we get a Tony the Tiger Special -- Albert Pujols is starting at third base for the first time since 2002. Lance Berkman will play first base.

On the Phillies' side, Placido Polanco gets the night off, so Wilson Valdez plays third base and bats second, with John Mayberry filling in for the injured Shane Victorino in center field. No Runs!

Cliff Lee starts for the Phillies against Jake Westbrook for the Cardinals.
