The Phillies and Mariners close out their three game Interleague Series in this afternoon's rubber match. For once (FINALLY!) the Phillies will have the edge in the pitching matchup.

Cole Hamels goes for the Phillies against Jason Vargas for the Mariners. None of this is to say Vargas is a bum, mind you; in fact he's the kind of lefty starter that anecdotally seems to give the Phillies fits.
