Rubby!: Dodgers at Phillies Game Thread, June 7, 2011

The immortal Rubby de la Rosa makes his first Major League start tonight for the Dodgers against Roy Oswalt and the Philadelphia Phillies.

Anecdotally, it seems like the Phillies struggle against first-time pitchers, but then I remember that they gave Tim Lincecum a little abuse, so who knows?

Rubby's got some decent numbers at Double-A Chattanooga (52 Ks in 40 innings, just 30 hits and one HR).

Hopefully Oswalt remembers how to strike people out.
