The Phillies look to take this road series against the Mets this afternoon in Queens, and will send Cole Hamels to the mound against the profoundly ugly Jon Niese.

Carlos Beltran is out of the Mets lineup with "flu-like symptoms" (i.e., the runs), while Domonic Brown gets the day off against the lefthander. Man-of-the-hour John Mayberry bats second.
