Hunter Pence to Phillies Imminent? Singleton Removed From Game for Clearwater

Ken Rosenthal reports that the Phillies and Astros are extremely close on a deal that would send outfielder Hunter Pence to the Phillies for a package of prospects to include pitcher Jarred Cosart, first baseman Jonathan Singleton, and two players to be named, unlikely to be major prospects. Jim Salisbury has the scoop, as well.

Singleton has been removed from the Clearwater Threshers game. Domonic Brown is still in the outfield in Philadelphia, which is reassuring.
