Cliff Lee will push the 2012 Phillies out on an ice floe, picking up the start in Game 162 against the playoff-bound Washington Nationals. Edwin Jackson goes for the Nationals.

Well everyone, it's been real here in GameThreadLand during this season of brutal disappointment. The Phillies will be playing for a winning record on the season this afternoon in Washington, and will be looking to Cliff Lee, owner of a losing record on the season despite pitching quite well, to send them to the golf course on a high note.

Edwin Jackson starts for the Nationals.
