Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reporting that the Braves have reached an agreement with free agent center fielder B.J. Upton on a multiyear deal. Terms are currently unknown.
B.J. Upton and #Braves are in agreement, pending physical. Terms of contract not yet known.

The Phillies had apparently targeted Upton, 28, to fill the vacancy in center field left after July's trade of Shane Victorino.
With Upton off the board, the Phillies will now likely turn to free agents Michael Bourn, Angel Pagan, or perhaps even Josh Hamilton.
Trade candidates include Dexter Fowler of the Rockies and Peter Bourjos of the Angels.
Or maybe another go-around with Victorino himself?
I don't mind this too much, particularly if the Braves wound up having to pay a tremendous amount. None of the options are a real slam-dunk and I'd rather not see the team hamstring itself with another massive contract for a less-than-amazing talent.
