Tim Lincecum and Roy Halladay take the hill tonight in San Francisco in the first game of the Phillies 10 game west coast trip, and will literally be dragging their shared hardware -- four Cy Young Awards between them -- out to the mound. Placido Polanco will trip over Halladay's 2003 Award, break his ribs, and retire. The game may never end.
Halladay is off to a typically Halladayean start, while the emaciated Count Chocula look-alike in San Francisco has gotten his brains beaten in to the tune of 11 runs in 7 2/3 innings in his first two starts.
Between the Phillies dismal lineup, and Lincecum's troubled start, something has to give, right?
