Outman Returns: Rockies at Phillies Game Thread, June 19, 2012

The Phillies try to start fresh at home with a three game series against a Rockies team struggling (losers of nine of ten) even worse than the Phillies are.

Josh Outman, the pitching prospect traded by the Phillies to Oakland in the Joe Blanton deal, takes the hill for the Rockies, against the recently scuffling Cole Hamels.

Josh Outman's dad, Fritz Outman, apparently took the family name to heart and has some pretty unorthodox ideas about pitching mechanics. Check it out. I guess they coached it out of Josh.
