Wolf Pack Reunion: Brewers at Phillies Game Thread, July 23, 2012

Fresh off winning their third extra innings game in 12 tries and snapping a seven-game home losing streak, the Phillies try to extend their winning streak to an impressive two as they take on the Brewers tonight. Yesterday's game could end up being the turning point of the season, fanning the small ember of optimism I've been unwisely keeping alive and turning it into a fire. Or, it could turn out to be just another missed opportunity in a season full of them, and I'll have to actually write that "Acceptance: Phillies and the Death of Hope" piece I've been dreading for weeks now. (Months, actually.)

What we do know is that current Phillies pitcher Roy Halladay will take on former Phillies pitcher Randy Wolf. Halladay doesn't have any fan clubs like The Wolf Pack, though I'm not sure he needs one. Aren't we all just one big Roy Halladay fan club, anyway?

Please leave your wolf puns, Halladay fan club ideas, and game thoughts below.
