May and Rodriguez have both been struggling badly of late, so it's noteworthy that they both pitched relatively well yesterday. May's K/BB doesn't look all that much better than usual, but FWIW, three of his walks occurred in the 6th over his final stretch of four batters before he was pulled. He was doing much better over the first 5.

Wright's performance level has fluctuated this year, but July has been an "up" month for him. In 33.2 IP, 30 H, 3 HR, 16 BB, 32 K, 2.41 ERA.

Hoby Milner (7th round) 5.1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 4 K, 7 GB, 0 LD, 7 FB (4 pop)

Kelly Dugan 0 for 3, BB
Maikel Franco 1 for 4, 2B
Brian Pointer 4 for 4
Josh Ludy (8th round) 0 for 4, K
Milner has struggled since being promoted to Lakewood, but this was his best game as a BlueClaw. Interestingly, he was a relief pitcher for the University of Texas this year before the draft. I have no idea whether the Phillies actually like him as a starter or whether this is just for 2012 only.

It's only GCL, but this Keivi Rojas has been very impressive this year: 11 G, 23.2 IP, 15 H, 1 HR, 2 BB, 33 K, 1.90 ERA. He's righthanded, Venezuelan, and 19 years old. I wonder if they'll try him out as a starter at some point, or if his skill set is better suited for relief for whatever reason.
