Buffalo 6, Lehigh Valley 0

Joe Savery 0.1 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 1 IBB, 1 K, 1 HR
J.C. Ramirez 1.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K
Cesar Hernandez 1 for 4
Sebastian Valle 0 for 1

Savery had been pitching well, but this was a nightmare outing.

Reading 7, Trenton 2

Adam Morgan 6.0 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 5 K, 1 HR, 6 GB, 7 LD, 5 FB (1 pop)
Kyle Simon 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K
Tyson Gillies 2 for 4, 2B
Cody Asche 3 for 4, 2B, K
Darin Ruf 3 for 4, HR
Leandro Castro 1 for 4
Tommy Joseph 1 for 4, 2 K
Jiwan James 0 for 4, 3 K

This was probably Morgan's worst game in weeks, which just goes to show how well he's been pitching.

Clearwater 4, Tampa 0

Austin Wright 6.0 IP, 6 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 8 K, 6 GB, 1 LD, 8 FB (3 pop)
Hector Neris 2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K
Colton Murray 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 0 K
Zach Collier 0 for 3, HBP
Anthony Hewitt 1 for 4, K, PO/CS
Cameron Rupp 1 for 3, 2B, BB, K
Harold Martinez 2 for 4, 2B, error
Edgar Duran 0 for 4, K

I guess I was wrong about Drew Hillman moving to the mound. He was the DH in this game.

Augusta 4, Lakewood 2

Hoby Milner (7th round) 4.0 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 0 K, 1 HR, 7 GB, 4 LD, 7 FB (2 pop)
Tim Carver (19th round) 1 for 4, error
Kelly Dugan 2 for 3, K, HBP
Maikel Franco 0 for 4, 3 K, error
Brian Pointer 2 for 4, 3B, K, error
Josh Ludy (8th round) 1 for 3, BB
William Carmona (11th round) 0 for 4, K

This breaks Milner's three-start scoreless streak.

Short season team stats after the jump...

Williamsport had the night off for the NYPL All-Star Break. The All-Star Game was held in Mahoning Valley, Ohio and the NL affiliates, featuring two Crosscutters, cruised to an 8-1 victory. Chris Serritella started at DH, and singled and struck out in two plate appearances. Roman Quinn was the backup at SS, and he went 2 for 2 with "an inside-the-park home run on a ground ball through the hole at shortstop" (???) and a single.

GCL Phillies 6, GCL Blue Jays 4

Franklyn Vargas 5.0 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 0 HR, 2 HBP, 6 GB, 3 LD, 3 FB
Yacksel Rios 2.0 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 2 K, 1 HR
Carlos Best 2.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K
Delvi Francisco 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K
Angelo Mora 1 for 5, 2B, K
Carlos Tocci 2 for 5, 2 K
Andrew Pullin (5th round) 2 for 4, BB, K
Zach Green (3rd round) 3 for 5, K
Willians Astudillo 2 for 4, 2B, 0 K
Dylan Cozens (2nd round) 1 for 4, HR, BB
Steven Golden (13th round) 0 for 1, K
