It was close for awhile, then the bullpen got ahold of it. B.J. Rosenberg, Raul Valdes, and Michael Schwimer combined to allow six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, as the Marlins prevented a sweep, defeating the Phillies by a score of 9-2.
