Lehigh Valley 1, Toledo 0 (Game 1 of doubleheader - 7 innings)

Jonathan Pettibone 7.0 IP (CG), 3 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 4 K, 1 SH, 9 GB, 3 LD, 5 FB (1 pop)
Cesar Hernandez 1 for 3

The only run in this game came on a second-inning Cody Overbeck homer. Pettibone continues to excel in AAA in his new guise as a groundball machine, although his batted ball breakdown was actually a little less impressive yesterday than it had been in his last couple of outings.

Toledo 5, Lehigh Valley 2 (Game 2 of doubleheader - 7 innings)

Mario Hollands 3.0 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 1 K, 0 HR, 5 GB, 4 LD, 5 FB
J.C. Ramirez 2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 2 K
Cesar Hernandez 1 for 3
Sebastian Valle 0 for 2, BB, 2 K, threw out 0 of 1

Two former Phillies second basemen, Ryne Sandberg and Pete Orr, were ejected from this game.

Reading 11, Harrisburg 9

Brody Colvin 5.0 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 4 BB, 0 K, 1 HR, 1 HBP, 1 SH, 10 GB, 2 LD, 8 FB
Kyle Simon 1.0 IP, 3 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 0 BB, 0 K, 0 HR

Darin Ruf 2 for 4, HR, BB, K
Leandro Castro 2 for 4, 2B, SF
Tommy Joseph 0 for 3, BB, K, SH, threw out 0 of 1
Jiwan James 1 for 1

Everybody hits, woo hoo. The first five R-Phils runs, including the first Asche homer, were scored off of the perpetually rehabbing Chien-Ming Wang. They still found themselves down 8-5 after six innings, but closed out the game with innings of two, one, and three runs.

Clearwater vs. Dayton ppd.

Another strong but losing effort for Arias, whose ERA as a starter is now 2.48, with 33 K and 6 BB in 32.2 IP. Franco is still red hot.
