In my mind, anyways, this past week has been the Should Of Been 2012 Playoffs, as the Phillies take on two division winners in seven games. On the one hand, you could say that it's not really fair because all seven games are at home. In reply, I say: "Well, Michael Martinez." And you tilt your head back in sage agreement and say, "Ahh, yes. Michael Martinez."

The Phillies are trailing this best-of-seven series two games to one, and send their talented, handsome and wealthy pitcher, Cole Hamels to the mound tonight. He's opposed by Johnny Cueto, who idolizes Pedro Martinez, whch kind of makes him okay in my book despite the vaguely threatening way he wears his hair and cap. So this ought to be a jim-dandy pitching matchup of NL Cy Young contenders. With Michael Martinez!
