Cue the Benny Hill Theme: Phillies at Marlins, 9/29/2012

Come hell or high water, Roy Halladay is making his final start as the Phillies limp toward the end of the season. And Ryan Howard is actually limping. Again.

Tonight, Roy Halladay is making his final start of the season. Should he be doing this? I don't know. But I'm pretty sure we'll all find out.

Darin Ruf starts at first base tonight because, as you might have heard, Ryan Howard fractured his toe. He did this when he dropped a metal pipe on it, the pipe he swings while he's in the on deck circle.

I'm not sure if the universe could have provided a more appropriate capper to this season. What else could the universe have done to the Phillies? Discuss that and the game after the jump.
