It was dicey there for awhile, folks, but we made it to Opening Day. We finally get to watch the Phillies play games that count.
A mustache-less Cole Hamels (WHY, COLE, WHY!?) takes the mound in his first Opening Day start. He'll face Tim Hudson of the Braves, about which I can only say "BOOOOOO." Leading off for the Phillies tonight is Ben "Not Jimmy Rollins" Revere. Jimmy Rollins is hitting second. To put that in context:
The last time Jimmy Rollins hit second (May 29, 2004), he hit between Doug Glanville and Bobby Abreu. Vicente Padilla started that day.
