Afterglow: Mets at Phillies Game Thread, April 10, 2013

Do you guys remember last night? I sure do.

He's trying to hug himself!

Last night, Cliff Lee was pretty great. 8 2/3 innings, two earned runs, six strikeouts, and no walks. He even had a hit and an RBI for good measure. Ryan Howard and Michael Young hit back to back home runs, and one batter later John Mayberry hit one of his own.

Apparently, the Phillies aren't allowed to just replay last night's game in place of tonight's. They have to play a whole new game tonight. And that game will be started by Kyle Kendrick. That is also apparently not up for negotiation. (Believe me, I tried.)

Kendrick and the Phillies wrap up this three game series against the Mets tonight, and they'll have Jeremy Hefner on the mound. The Phillies have an offday tomorrow, and they resurface on Friday in Miami for their first series with the Marlins.

Discuss the game in the comments below.
