I'm not going to beat around the bush. Today at 1:10, Roy Halladay takes the mound for his third start of the season.
What can I say? Halladay needs a bounce back start. He needs to last more than four innings, he needs to throw fewer pitches, he needs to stop walking guys. He needs to just... stop being bad. So that's one of today's key's to the game: stop being bad, start being good. Halladay says that his problems are mental. I'm not so sure.
I don't even care if the Phillies win this game. I mean I do, of course. But I care just as much about Halladay getting back on the right track. Halladay takes on former Twins pitcher Kevin Slowey today. Let's hope the Phillies offense can figure this guy out.
Please Roy. We need you.
