Have you ever seen WKRP in Cincinnati? It's got that great late 70s/early 80s fuzzy look to it. There's Loni Anderson, who was somehow a thing back then. Les Nessman. Dr. Johnny Fever. I'm sure some other characters too. And you can't forget the theme song, which is probably the show's most enduring legacy. Well, that's not entirely true. The show's most enduring legacy is the turkey drop episode, which is probably one of the 50 or so greatest sitcom episodes of all time. Seriously, it's hilarious. You can watch it free on Hulu.
Kyle Kendrick starts for the Phillies and Homer Bailey starts for the Reds tonight. Both are 1-1 with ERAs in the glorious mid-5 range. Kendrick is coming off of a decent start (two earned runs in six innings), and Bailey is coming off of a start where he gave up seven earned runs in five innings. So not quite as good. Homer Bailey is also pretty cute. I just want to put that out there.
Got kinda tired of packin' and unpackin', town to town, up and down the dial. Maybe you and me were never meant to be, but baby think of me once in awhile, and discuss the game in the comments below.
