Dream Come True: Phillies at Mets Game Thread, April 27, 2013

Sometimes, something awesome happens.

Rich Schultz

Last night was pretty awesome, right? I know I should be talking about today's matchup, but last night Kyle Kendrick threw a three-hit complete game shut out against the Mets.

No, seriously! I'm not making it up! Check the stats yourself!

But on to today's game. Jonathan Pettibone will be making his second major league start (his first was none too shabby), and the Mets' Shaun Marcum will be making his first start of the season. Marcum had been on the disabled list since the start of the season with nerve issues in his in his bicep and neck, but was activated today.

Chooch comes back tomorrow, you know. Discuss that and today's game in the comments below.
