Drama Bomb: Mets at Phillies Game Thread, April 8, 2013

Oh my glob you guys.

I miss you so much.
I miss you so much.
Jim McIsaac

On a day where there's already enough team drama (another bad start for Cole Hamels, another tough loss for the team, and Roy Halladay's start tonight), now there's even more. A week after Halladay subtly (or not so subtly, depending on how you look at it) threw Erik Kratz under the bus for his pitch calling on Opening Day, Kratz isn't in the lineup tonight. Humberto Quintero will be catching Roy Halladay.

DRAMA BOMB!

Halladay obviously misses Carlos Ruiz. So do I. SO DO WE ALL.

Chooch-less Halladay and the Phillies (who are also Chooch-less) will take on Matt Harvey and the Mets tonight. Harvey had an impressive debut last week, pitching seven shut out innings with 10 strikeouts. Come on, Roy! You can't let this whippersnapper get the better of you!

Discuss the game and the many ways in which you miss Carlos Ruiz in the comments below.
