[Insert Bone Pun Here]: Marlins at Phillies Game Thread, May 3, 2013

No. Just, no. Don't even try it.

Rich Schultz

All the bone/boner puns have been made. They have. This is Jonathan Pettibone's third start for the Phillies, and they are all gone. We're fresh out of bone/boner puns. Wait, that's a lie. We've been out of bone/boner puns for ten days now. There are none left. None, I tell you! Zero! Zippo! Zilch! Nada! Nil!

Jonathan Pettibone, who I'm sure is in no way tired of bone/boner puns, faces off against Ricky Nolasco tonight. Last night's win was much needed and very satisfying. It would be nice for the Phillies to assert their dominance over the Marlins and make them weep salty tears of inferiority while their fan base looks on disinterestedly. It's an option.
