It's pretty nice to see the Phillies win. Ryan Howard and Domonic Brown are hot at the plate, and I can't get enough of that dorky bow they do. Have you seen that? It's borderline adorable. Kendrick and Pettibone have been pitching really well, and now it's the top of the rotation's turn to beat the Marlins into submission.
I know they're just playing the Marlins, and the Marlins are bad. But these wins count just as much as the other ones do. And considering the Phillies face the Giants and the Diamondbacks next week, I'd like to watch them win as much as possible now, because I have a feeling that wins may be harder to come by in a few days.
Tonight, Cole Hamels and Jose Fernandez face off once again. Last time they both pitched well, but the Marlins picked up the win. Tonight, the Phillies have the chance to rectify that horrible mistake. It may be easier this time, considering that Jose Fernandez has been pretty awful since he started against the Phillies back in April.
