So after last night's thrilling win, I've decided to create a new rule.
Jonathan Papelbon is only allowed to blow saves when Domonic Brown is there to fix it later.
I would like everyone to take note of this rule and alert the appropriate parties of the change. I feel that with this new policy, we can allow Jonathan Papelbon to occasionally suck and give Domonic Brown the opportunity to be awesome. I think this is a win-win for all involved.
Tonight, with Cliff Lee on the mound, I would like the Phillies to do what they did last night, only without the low scoring and the blown save and the necessary last minute heroics. They'll face Ross Detwiler, and I'm sure with a brief explanation he'll be completely on board with this plan.
Wouldn't life be so much easier if people just did what you told them to do?
Please discuss the game in the comments below.
