Kyle Kendrick Possible Concussion, May Miss Start

Kendrick was hit in the head by a pitch today. He may have to go on the 7-day DL and miss his next start.

In the top of the sixth today, Kyle Kendrick was hit in the head by a pitched ball. He crumpled to the ground but was able to pitch the bottom of the sixth. He complained of a headache after the game, but did fly on the team plane back to Pittsburgh. He'll be re-evaluated there and could possibly go on the 7-day concussion DL.
