Honestly, my favorite thing about the Phillies visiting Milwaukee is the Sausage Race. I want to meet the person who came up with that. They should be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. A statue should be erected (no pun intended) to them. I mean, I'm sure the Brewers have a mascot. Probably a brewer of some kind. Or maybe a giant beer stein. That would be a cool mascot. But it doesn't even matter -- the Sausage Race is their identity. And the world is a better place for it.
Tonight, Tyler Cloyd will hope to repeat his last start, which was also against the Brewers. He went seven innings and gave up three runs, and just two earned. He faces Wily Peralta, who I literally know nothing about. I actually thought it might be Jhonny Peralta, which was weird since he's not a pitcher. But that would certainly be something to see.
Discuss the game below.
