Lehigh Valley, Buffalo (July 12 postponed due to rain)
Syracuse 8, Lehigh Valley 3 (July 13)
Tom Cochran - 0.2 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 5 ER, BB
Phillipe Aumont - 1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, BB, K
Cesar Hernandez - 0 for 2, R, 2 BB, 2 K (fielding error)
Freddy Galvis - 2 for 4, R, 2B, RBI, K
Cody Asche - 0 for 3, BB (fielding error)
Leandro Castro - 2 for 4, 2B, K

Cody Asche - 0 for 3, BB (fielding error)
Leandro Castro - 2 for 4, 2B, K
Tyson Gillies - 1 for 4, K (outfield assist)
Tough game for Cochran who couldn't even make it out of the first inning. Cesar Hernandez is playing CF to expand his versatility and it might just come in handy with Ben Revere's recent injury.
Syracuse 2, Lehigh Valley 1 (July 14)
Greg Smith - 5.2 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, BB, 3 K, 6 GB, 4 FB
Cesar Hernandez - 1 for 4
Freddy Galvis - 2 for 4, R, 2B
Cesar Hernandez - 1 for 4
Freddy Galvis - 2 for 4, R, 2B
Cody Asche - 0 for 3, BB, 2 K, SB
Leandro Castro - 2 for 4, RBI, K (fielding error)
Cameron Rupp - 1 for 4, CS (passed ball)
Leandro Castro - 2 for 4, RBI, K (fielding error)
Cameron Rupp - 1 for 4, CS (passed ball)
Tyson Gillies - 0 for 4, 4 K (outfield assist)
Lehigh Valley struggled with runners in scoring position and wasted an otherwise good outing from Greg Smith. As a starter in his last 3 games he has given up just 1 earned run through 15.1 innings. Tyson Gillies with the golden sombrero.
Reading, New Hampshire (July 12 postponed due to rain)
New Hampshire 6, Reading 3 (July 13)
Brody Colvin - 5 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 6 BB, 2 K, 6 GB, 5 FB
Zach Collier - 0 for 2, 2 BB, SB
Erik Kratz - 0 for 4, K
Zach Collier - 0 for 2, 2 BB, SB
Erik Kratz - 0 for 4, K
Kelly Dugan - 0 for 4, 3 K
Anthony Hewitt - 2 for 4, 2B, HR, 2 RBI, 2 K
Reading gives up 3 single runs in the 7th, 8th and 9th innings in route to a loss. Brody Colvin was usual Brody Colvin, with little to no control and a bad looking box score. Despite being inexplicably horrible, he only has 2 losses in AA this year.
New Hampshire 7, Reading 5 (July 14)
David Buchanan - 7 IP, 10 H, 4 R, 4 ER, BB, 6 K, 7 GB, 2 FB
Zach Collier - 1 for 5, RBI, BB, K (outfield assist)
Zach Collier - 1 for 5, RBI, BB, K (outfield assist)
Kelly Dugan - 2 for 6, K
Anthony Hewitt - 1 for 6, HR, 4 K
Anthony Hewitt - 1 for 6, HR, 4 K
Jim Murphy - 3 for 6, 2 2B, RBI, K
Sebastian Valle - 0 for 6, R
New Hampshire went up in the top of the 11th, but a Derrick Mitchell RBI single tied the game in the bottom half of the inning. It wasn't until a 2 run homer in the top of the 12 off of Bobby Bramhall that doomed the Fightins. Anthony Hewitt with 2 homers in as many days. He also struck out 6 times in that span.
Clearwater 3, Charlotte 0 (July 12)
Hoby Milner - 4 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 5 BB, 1 K, 2 GB, 2 FB
Jiwan James - 2 for 4, 2 R, K
Jiwan James - 2 for 4, 2 R, K
Aaron Altherr - 0 for 2, R, 2 BB (outfield assist)
Chris Serritella - 0 for 4, K
Cameron Perkins - 1 for 3, 2 RBI, K
Matt Tolbert - 1 for 2, RBI, BB
Chris Serritella - 0 for 4, K
Cameron Perkins - 1 for 3, 2 RBI, K
Matt Tolbert - 1 for 2, RBI, BB
A nice win from the Threshers who despite an uneven performance from Milner would go on to hold Charlotte to 0 runs. Altherr and Peter Lavin threw out two Charlotte runners at home plate to keep them off the board.
Clearwater 10, Charlotte 4 (July 13)
Nick Hernandez - 4 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 3 ER, BB, 4 K, 3 GB, 4 FB
Jiwan James - 1 for 5, 3B, 2 RBI
Jiwan James - 1 for 5, 3B, 2 RBI
Matt Tolbert - 3 for 5, 2 R, SB
Aaron Altherr - 0 for 3, R, BB, 2 K, SB
Chris Serritella - 3 for 4, 3 R, 2B, HR, 3 RBI
Cameron Perkins - 0 for 3, R, BB
Aaron Altherr - 0 for 3, R, BB, 2 K, SB
Chris Serritella - 3 for 4, 3 R, 2B, HR, 3 RBI
Cameron Perkins - 0 for 3, R, BB
A solid game all around from the Threshers. Chris Serritella with a huge game. Matt Tolbert is a little old for the league, but has been tearing it up as well. He should move up to Reading when a spot opens up.
Charlotte 8, Clearwater 1 (July 14)
Perci Garner - 5.2 IP, 11 H, 5 R, 5 ER, BB, 2 K, 6 GB, 2 FB
Cameron Perkins - 1 for 4, HR
Cameron Perkins - 1 for 4, HR
Chris Serritella - 0 for 4, 4 K
Harold Martinez - 2 for 4, 2B
5 runs from your starter doesn't usually bode well. That holds true here in addition to the team going 0 for 8 with runners in scoring position. Still, the Threshers should be very satisfied with taking 2 of 3 from Charlotte.
Lakewood 4, Hickory 0 (July 12)
Severino Gonzalez - 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 11 K, 4 GB, 1 FB
Carlos Tocci - 2 for 4, R, BB, K
Willie Carmona - 2 for 2, R, 2 BB (throwing error)
Jonathan Roof - 0 for 3, BB, K
Larry Greene - 1 for 4, RBI, 2 K
Mitch Walding - 0 for 3, BB
Carlos Tocci - 2 for 4, R, BB, K
Willie Carmona - 2 for 2, R, 2 BB (throwing error)
Jonathan Roof - 0 for 3, BB, K
Larry Greene - 1 for 4, RBI, 2 K
Mitch Walding - 0 for 3, BB
Lakewood would take the lead with a 1 run bottom of the first and never relinquish it. Blueclaws hold the Hickory Crawdads to 0 runs. Who was most responsible for this? Severino Gonzalez has certainly been an eye opening prospect this summer. Since being sent down to Lakewood from Clearwater to be a starter he has been outstanding. He is showing swing and miss stuff and it's playing up as a starter even more so than as a reliever. He is a work in progress, but it's worth watching him the rest of this summer to see if this pace is at least somewhat sustainable.
Hickory 5, Lakewood 1 (July 13)
Jonathan Musser - 6 IP, 4 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 4 K, 2 HR, 6 GB, 6 FB
Brian Pointer - 2 for 3, HR, BB
Willie Carmona - 0 for 3, BB
Larry Greene - 2 for 4, 2B
Mitch Walding - 0 for 2, 2 BB
Carlos Tocci - 0 for 4
Brian Pointer - 2 for 3, HR, BB
Willie Carmona - 0 for 3, BB
Larry Greene - 2 for 4, 2B
Mitch Walding - 0 for 2, 2 BB
Carlos Tocci - 0 for 4
Musser only let up 4 hits, but unfortunately the 2 in the first inning were a triple and homer. He would later give up another homer in the 6th inning (an inside the parker). Brian Pointer with his 5th homer of the season. Larry Greene continues his hot streak (.333/.333/.538 in last 10 games). Mitch Walding with his 42nd and 43rd walks of the year. He doesn't hit a whole lot, but finds ways to get on base otherwise.
Lakewood 5, Hickory 1 (July 14)
Miguel Nunez - 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 3 K, 10 GB, 3 FB
Carlos Tocci - 1 for 4, BB, 2 K
Larry Greene - 1 for 3, R, 2B, 2 K
Jonathan Roof - 3 for 4, R, K
Mitch Walding - 2 for 4, R, RBI, K
Brian Pointer - 1 for 3, BB, K
Carlos Tocci - 1 for 4, BB, 2 K
Larry Greene - 1 for 3, R, 2B, 2 K
Jonathan Roof - 3 for 4, R, K
Mitch Walding - 2 for 4, R, RBI, K
Brian Pointer - 1 for 3, BB, K
Excellent game from Nunez in one of his best starts of the season. Lakewood takes the series 2 to 3.
Connecticut 2, Williamsport 1 (July 12)
Yacksel Rios - 3 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 6 K, 2 GB, 1 FB
Gustavo Martinez - 1 for 4, K
Andrew Pullin - 1 for 4, R, 2B
Dylan Cozens - 1 for 4, 2B, RBI
Zach Green - 0 for 3, BB, K
Andrew Knapp - 1 for 3, 2B, K, HBP
Logan Pierce - 0 for 3, BB

Dylan Cozens - 1 for 4, 2B, RBI
Zach Green - 0 for 3, BB, K
Andrew Knapp - 1 for 3, 2B, K, HBP
Logan Pierce - 0 for 3, BB
Bullpen game for the Crosscutters. Rios with 6 strikeouts! Josh Warner runs into trouble in the bottom of the 6th to give up both runs.
Williamsport 9, Aberdeen 2 (July 13)
Drew Anderson - 5 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 1 ER, BB, 4 K, HR, 3 GB, 3 FB
Andrew Pullin - 1 for 5, CS
Dylan Cozens - 1 for 3, 2B, 2 RBI, K
Zach Green - 2 for 5, R, 2B, RBI, K (throwing error)
Andrew Knapp - 2 for 4, 2 R, 2 2B, BB
Logan Pierce - 0 for 3, R, BB, K
Gabriel Lino - 2 for 4, R, 3 RBI
Andrew Pullin - 1 for 5, CS
Dylan Cozens - 1 for 3, 2B, 2 RBI, K
Zach Green - 2 for 5, R, 2B, RBI, K (throwing error)
Andrew Knapp - 2 for 4, 2 R, 2 2B, BB
Logan Pierce - 0 for 3, R, BB, K
Gabriel Lino - 2 for 4, R, 3 RBI
Nice start from Anderson who gets the win. Andrew Knapp keeps proving his bat is going to be his strength. He is an exciting prospect to keep an eye on for the next couple years. He will be extremely valuable if he can keep producing and actually stick at catcher.
Williamsport 8, Aberdeen 6 (July 14)
Jon Prosinski - 4 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, BB, 5 K, 5 GB, 1 FB
Gustavo Martinez - 0 for 3, R, BB, K
Andrew Pullin - 2 for 5, R, BB
Dylan Cozens - 0 for 3, 2 R, 2 BB, K
Zach Green - 2 for 4, 2 R, 2B, 2 RBI, BB, 2 K, SB
Andrew Knapp - 1 for 5, 2 RBI
Logan Pierce - 0 for 2, RBI, BB, HBP
Gabriel Lino - 3 for 4, R, 2B, RBI, BB, K, CS
Gustavo Martinez - 0 for 3, R, BB, K
Andrew Pullin - 2 for 5, R, BB
Dylan Cozens - 0 for 3, 2 R, 2 BB, K
Zach Green - 2 for 4, 2 R, 2B, 2 RBI, BB, 2 K, SB
Andrew Knapp - 1 for 5, 2 RBI
Logan Pierce - 0 for 2, RBI, BB, HBP
Gabriel Lino - 3 for 4, R, 2B, RBI, BB, K, CS
Plenty of baserunners this game with 11 hits and 8 walks for the Crosscutters. Surprisingly, they were only 3 for 14 with RISP. Prosinski is looking like he is settling in pretty nice. Prosinski is a North Jersey native and a former Seton Hall Pirate.
Adam Morgan - 3 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 K, 5 GB, 0 FB
JP Crawford - 0 for 3, BB, K
Jose Pujols - 1 for 3, 2 R, HR, BB, K
Sam Dove - 1 for 4, HR, 2 RBI
JP Crawford - 0 for 3, BB, K
Jose Pujols - 1 for 3, 2 R, HR, BB, K
Sam Dove - 1 for 4, HR, 2 RBI
Adam Morgan on the rehab trail! Had a pretty good first outing back and was able to keep the ball down and not walk anyone. Alejandro Arteaga with the rough outing of the two and was charged with the loss.
GCL Phillies 5, GCL Pirates 1 (July 13)
Jesen Therrien - 5 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, K, 9 GB, 1 FB
JP Crawford - 0 for 3, R, BB, K
Cord Sandberg - 0 for 3, BB
Wilmer Oberto - 1 for 4, 3B, 2 K
Jose Pujols - 0 for 4
Trey Williams - 2 for 3, 2 R, HR, BB
Nick Ferdinand - 1 for 3, HR, 2 RBI, BB
JP Crawford - 0 for 3, R, BB, K
Cord Sandberg - 0 for 3, BB
Wilmer Oberto - 1 for 4, 3B, 2 K
Jose Pujols - 0 for 4
Trey Williams - 2 for 3, 2 R, HR, BB
Nick Ferdinand - 1 for 3, HR, 2 RBI, BB
Therrien with his 2nd quality starter in his last two games. The offense rested on the homers from Williams and Ferdinand and that was all they really needed. Jose Pujol's bat remains dormant.
