The Phanatic and Mr. Met Have Lunch

Even though the Phanatic does no bodily harm to Mr. Met in this MasterCard promotional video, I could watch it over and over all day long.

All that is good in the world.
All that is good in the world.

I have zero use for the All-Star Game. If the fans voted in Humberto Quintero, I wouldn't care one bit about the integrity of mid-summer classic. In fact, I'd be happy for him. If the NL manager (I don't even know who it is this year - I assume he's associated with the Giants in some form) chose John Lannan to start the game, wonderful. I've heard he's a nice guy. I just don't give a rat's ass about this game.

What I do care about is that for four days I don't get to watch baseball. I don't have Phillies games to follow. I don't have my fantasy baseball team to analyze. And this all makes me very sad.

But then something like this comes along, and I'm happy again. Really, anything with the Phanatic makes me happy (I'm still a 6 year old kid that way, as I'm sure almost everyone reading this blog is), but this video is an absolute must-view.

Even with Mr. Met ending the video with that same shit-eating grin on his face that he always has, it's perfect. Enjoy!
