Lehigh Valley 2, Syracuse 0

Greg Smith - 6.2 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 5 K, 7 GB, 4 FB
Freddy Galvis - 1 for 4, RBI
Cesar Hernandez - 1 for 4, R, K
Darin Ruf - 0 for 2, BB, K
Leandro Castro - 3 for 3, RBI
Cameron Rupp - 0 for 3, K
Tyson Gillies - 1 for 3, R, K

Greg Smith in his 2nd start in a row was highly effective and has yet to yield a run. Since returning from the DL, Castro is 5 for 10. Rupp's home run streak comes to an end.

Richmond 7, Reading 4

Seth Rosin - 4 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 2 K, 2 GB, 5 FB
Maikel Franco - 1 for 4
Sebastian Valle - 0 for 4, K
Anthony Hewitt - 0 for 3, R, BB

With two home runs from Anthony Cartwright and Derrick MItchell, it looked like the game would be going into extra innings. Hector Neris gave up 3 runs in the 8th to spoil the game. It wasn't a particularly strong effort from Seth Rosin who had recently strung together a few solid starts.

Clearwater 4, Dunedin 3

Perci Garner - 7 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, 8 K, 7 GB, 4 FB
Aaron Altherr - 1 for 5, R, BB, 2 K, SB
Kelly Dugan - 2 for 6, 2 R, HR, 2 RBI, 3 K, SB
Tommy Joseph - 0 for 6, 4 K
Chris Serritella - 3 for 4, R, 2B, HR, BB
Harold Martinez - 0 for 4, BB, K

Holy strikeouts Batman! The Threshers struck out 15(!!!) times this game, walked 7 times and had 9 total hits. We got free baseball and Clearwater won in the bottom of the 12th on a walkoff single from Jonathan Roof that scores Kelly Dugan. Garner with one of his best starts since May. Ugly line from Joseph...

Delmarva 3, Lakewood 1

Miguel Nunez - 5.1 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, K, 9 GB, 3 FB
Carlos Tocci - 0 for 5, K
Willie Carmona - 2 for 4, 2B, K
Larry Greene - 1 for 3, BB (fielding error)
Mitch Walding - 0 for 4, K

Not a noteworthy game from any Blue claw who drop the series finale.

State College 3, Williamsport 1

Drew Anderson - 6 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 3 ER, BB, 5 K, HR, 4 GB, 6 FB
Andrew Pullin - 1 for 4, K
Dylan Cozens - 1 for 4, 2 K
Zach Green - 3 for 4, 2 2B, K, CS
Gabriel Lino - 0 for 2, R, 2 BB, 2 K, PO

Despite a solid effort from Anderson, there was not a strong offensive effort from the Crosscutters. Zach Green breaks out of his mini-slump with two doubles.

GCL Braves 11, GCL Phillies 4

Elniery Garcia - 5 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 4 K, 7 GB, 1 FB
JP Crawford - 1 for 3, R, BB 2 K
Cord Sandberg - 0 for 2, BB, K
Jiwan James - 0 for 4, K
Cameron Perkins - 2 for 3, HR, BB
Jose Pujols - 0 for 3, R, BB
Jan Hernandez - 0 for 2, RBI, BB, K (2 fielding errors)

Things were going alright until the 6th inning when Garcia was relieved for Jesen Therrien who promptly couldn't not find a bat giving up 6 hits, a hit batter and a walk. All would come around to score.
