Syracuse 7, Lehigh Valley 4 (1st game of doubleheader)
Tyler Cloyd - 5.1 IP, 11 H, 7 R, 4 ER, BB, 4 K, 4 GB, 4 FB

Darin Ruf - 1 for 2, 2B, RBI, BB (fielding error)
Tyson Gillies - 1 for 3, HR, 2 RBI
Mauricio Robles - 0.2 IP, BB
Tyler Cloyd cruises mostly until the bottom of the 5th inning where he ran into trouble. Errors and Mauricio Robles didn't help his cause and was hit with the loss. Since being recalled from AA, Gillies is hitting 4 for 12 with 3 runs scored, a home run, walk and only two strikeouts.
Syracuse 6, Lehigh Valley 5 (2nd game of doubleheader)
Zach Miner - 5 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 4 K, 5 GB, 2 FB

Cody Asche - 1 for 3, K
Darin Ruf - 1 for 3, R, RBI
Leandro Castro - 1 for 3, R
Cameron Rupp - 2 for 3, 2 RBI
In frustrating fashion, Lehigh blows this one in the bottom of the 7th (of a 7 inning game) with a walk-off loss. Justin Friend replaces Mike MacDougal to close out the game. He promptly gives up a leadoff homer to former Phillies prospect Mike Costanzo. He then gives up a single, sac bunt, walk, walk, wild pitch and a single in that order to lose the game. Otherwise, it was a strong offensive outing from the Phillies top hitting prospects that wound up being wasted.
Reading 5, Trenton 4
Jesse Biddle - 6 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, BB, 9 K, 5 GB, 5 FB
Zach Collier - 0 for 4, R, BB, K
Sebastian Valle - 1 for 4, K
Anthony Hewitt - 0 for 4
I was trying to find a Reading game recap for this, but I can't seem to locate one. Maikel Franco didn't play, so I'm unsure if this was a day off or injury related. Hopefully will have more information tomorrow or later today. Jesse Biddle with an excellent outing which should have result in a decision for him. The bullpen gave up 3 runs in his absence.
Dunedin 5, Clearwater 4
Ethan Stewart - 5 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 K, 4 GB, 5 FB
Aaron Altherr - 1 for 4, HR, 2 RBI
Kelly Dugan - 0 for 3, R, RBI, BB, CS
Tommy Joseph - 2 for 4, 2B, RBI
Chris Serritella - 0 for 3, BB
Harold Martinez - 1 for 4, 2B, K
Clearwater loses in dramatic fashion with a bottom of the 9th with a bases loaded single to lose the game. Tommy Joseph with a nice game as well as Ethan Stewart who has strung together consecutive good starts.
Greensboro 4, Lakewood 2
Shane Watson - 5 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 5 GB, 5 FB
Willie Carmona - 2 for 4, R
Larry Greene - 2 for 4, K
Mitch Walding - 1 for 3, 2B, BB
Zach Taylor - 0 for 3, 2 K
Oh, yeah the Lakewood Blueclaws lose in the bottom of the 9th on a walkoff 2 run homer. They lose despite 10 hits and 13 baserunners.
Williamsport 11, Mahoning Valley 6
Julio Reyes - 4 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, HR, 2 GB, 3 FB
Andrew Pullin - 4 for 6, R, 3B, 2 RBI
Dylan Cozens - 1 for 4, HR, 2 RBI, BB
Zach Green - 1 for 4, R, BB, K (fielding error)
Gabriel Lino - 1 for 5, R, K
Logan Pierce - 2 for 5, HR, 2 RBI, K
This box score was refreshing to write after all those walkoff losses. Cozens with 3 homeruns in his last 6 games. Andrew Pullin with a 4 hit game. Logan Pierce has been on fire batting .361/.410/.528 in his last 10 games. This was a nice win.
GCL Braves 4, GCL Phillies 3

JP Crawford - 1 for 5, R, SB
