Finally: Braves at Phillies Game Thread, July 6, 2013

It's about time. Really.

The Phillies have finally placed Ryan Howard on the disabled list. He's barely been able to walk lately, so it's about time. Darin Ruf has been recalled. Also about time. Good luck, big guy. Though it's a shame that Howard won't be able to start against Hudson tonight. He has some crazy career numbers against him.

Of course, I'm assuming there's a game tonight. Living in Connecticut, I will be getting the Braves and Mets game and I'll be completely unable to watch the Phillies game. But I will be able to watch the reveal of the All-Star lineups! That totally makes up for it. Thanks, Major League Baseball! You guys are the best!

Oh wait, I mean the opposite of that. Bite me.
