Where will Pettibone land once he is recalled back to the big club?
Where will Pettibone land once he is recalled back to the big club?
Jason Szenes

Scranton/WB 3, Lehigh Valley 1

Jonathan Pettibone - 6 IP, 10 H, 3 R, 3 ER, K, 5 GB, 6 FB
Phillippe Aumont - 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 K
Mauricio Robles - 1 IP, 0 H, 0 R, K
Freddy Galvis - 1 for 4, K
Tyler Henson - 1 for 4, K (missed catch error)
Cesar Hernandez - 2 for 3, R, K, SB, HBP
Leandro Castro - 1 for 4, 2 K (outfield assist, home)
Tyson Gillies - 0 for 3, 2 K (outfield assist, home)

Pettibone on his 2nd rehab start coming back from injury.  It was really overshadowed by Halladay's start in Lakewood.  I'm not sure what to make of these numbers.  10 hits obviously isn't something you want to see as he has only given up 10 runs once this season on the major league level.  He takes this loss in this one while the bullpen throws 3 scoreless innings.  Cesar is the only player for the IronPigs with 2 hits in the game.  Lehigh splits the 4 game series and has an off day today.

Reading 2, Altoona 0

Ryan Demmin - 7 IP, 5 H, 0 R, K, 7 GB, 6 FB
Albert Cartwright - 2 for 5, RBI, 2 SB (outfield assist, 1st base)
Zach Collier - 1 for 4, BB, K
Maikel Franco - 0 for 5, R, 2 K
Kelly Dugan - 1 for 4, K
Matt Tolbert - 1 for 3, R, BB
Sebastian Valle - 0 for 2, RBI, K

Dremmin with a great start after being promoted to Reading from Lakewood.  His strikeouts were practically non-existent, but he doesn't walk anyone (1 BB in 20 IP since being signed).  Albert Cartwright steals his 24th and 25th stolen base on the season.  He has been flying under the radar a bit and could turn himself into a prospect if he has a little better plate discipline.

Clearwater 11, Tampa 2

Luis Paulino - 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 4 K, 4 GB, 3 FB
Jiwan James - 3 for 5, R, 2 RBI, K
Carlos Alonso - 2 for 5, R, 2B, 4 RBI
Aaron Altherr - 1 for 5
Chris Serritella - 1 for 5, R, 2 K
Cameron Perkins - 2 for 3, R, RBI, BB
Brock Stassi - 2 for 4, R, 3B, RBI
Jonathan Roof - 2 for 4, 2 R, 3B, RBI, K
Harold Martinez - 2 for 3, 3 R, RBI, BB
Logan Moore - 2 for 4, R

Wow and offensive explosion from the Threshers? I'll take it.  Everyone in the lineup with at least 1 hit.   Luis Paulino also delivers in a big way by 1 hitting the Yankees.  Paulino has been quite good lately.

Lakewood 3, Hagerstown 2

Roy Halladay - 6 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 4 K, 4 GB, 4 FB
Angelo Mora - 1 for 3, 3B, RBI, BB
JP Crawford - 1 for 4, R, K
Willie Carmona - 2 or 4, R, K
Art Charles - 0 for 3, RBI
Mitch Walding - 0 for 2, K
Larry Greene - 2 for 4, R, 2B, 2K, CS, picked off (fielding error)
Carlos Tocci - 1 for 3, RBI, K
Jiandido Tromp - 1 for 2, R, 3B, BB, CS (outfield assist, 3rd base)

Roy Halladay makes his 2nd rehab start after a so-so performance in the GCL.  His velocity topped out at 89, but stayed in the 85-88 range for his fastball.  His swings and misses were mostly on his change up and curveball.  Slightly encouraging, but major league hitters are going to crush him if he were to go back to the big club.  The offense did all they could in this game.  JP Crawford with another hit.  Larry Greene with 2 hits to combat his terrible baserunning (7 CS) and apparently fielding (11th error).  Lakewood beats a very good Hagerstown squad.

State College 10, Williamsport 4

Shane Martin - 4 IP, 8 H, 5 R, 5 ER, BB, 3 K, 2 HR, 6 GB, 1 FB
Justin Parr - 2 for 4, R, 3B, RBI, BB, K
Andrew Pullin - 2 for 5
Andrew Knapp - 1 for 5, HR, K
Zach Green - 1 for 5, 2B, K
Dylan Cozens - 1 for 5
Logan Pierce - 2 for 5, R, 2 2B
Herlis Rodriguez - 1 for 4 (outfield assist, 3rd base)
Malquin Canelo - 3 for 4, R (fielding and throwing error)

Yikes! A rough start for Martin, who has been battling a little bit of inconsistency lately.  The offense put up 14 hits, but were 1 for 12 with RISP.  Andrew Knapp with his 4th HR on the season.  Justin Parr's last six games has been pretty crazy.  He is 11 for 25 with 3 walks to boot.  He is a bit old for the league though.

GCL Phillies 3, GCL Astros 2

Elniery Garcia - 4 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 5 K, 5 GB, 1 FB
Venn Biter -2 for 5, R, 2B, 2 K (outfield assist, 2nd base)
Cord Sandberg - 1 for 5, RBI
Nick Ferdinand - 3 for 5, RBI, K, CS
Wilmer Oberto - 1 for 5, 3 K (pickoff and fielding error)
Robinson Torres - 1 for 4
Jose Pujols - 0 for 3, R, BB 3 K
Jair Morelos - 1 for 3, R

This game would go into extra innings.  The Phils would win courtesy a Nick Ferdinand RBI single that would score Biter in the top of the 11th.  Garcia pitched one of his best games of the season.  He had not been really good as of late.  Venn Biter has a cool name.
