It's Just Science: Padres at Phillies Game Thread, September 10, 2013

60% of the time, my predictions are always right.

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODA

The Phillies have just swept the first place Braves in three games. The baseball gods even gave us an off day yesterday to let us bask in the glory of beating them. And then the Eagles were good yesterday! No, seriously! I'm telling the truth!

So it only follows that after sweeping the Braves, the Phillies will themselves be swept by the Padres, who are one game out of last place in the NL West. It's just science.

Also, expect a lot of Anchorman for the next three games. It's the end of a long season and I've written a lot of these game threads, folks. Also, I love Anchorman SO MUCH. I'll take any excuse to put Anchorman clips in something.

Discuss the game in the comments below.
