Low Expectations: Marlins at Phillies Game Thread, September 18, 2013

You should adjust your mindset before you turn the game on tonight.

Zach Miner still pitches for the Phillies, for some reason.

Kyle Kendrick's sore, MRI'd shoulder is preventing him from starting tonight. Zach Miner is taking the mound in his stead. You might remember Zach Miner from... um... probably nothing. Unless doughy ineffectiveness is memorable.

Miner is facing off against Nate Evoaldi, which is fun to say and spell. So he's already up on Miner.

Will the Marlins win and momentarily slow their inexplicably boring march to 100 loss inevitability? Or will the Phillies win and spare themselves the embarrassment of losing to the unbelievably terrible Marlins at home? I'm sure you'll be on pins and needles, watching the entire game with bated breath until the outcome is apparent. I KNOW I WILL BE YUP THAT'S RIGHT.
