It's Cliff Lee's last start of the 2013 season. When he's removed from tonight's game, he'll sprint from the mound directly into a car that will take him to a plane which will take him far, far away from here. He will spend the offseason hunting, fishing, spending time with his family, playing in giant piles of money, and undergoing intense shock therapy. He thinks it's best if he just erases this entire season from his memory. I'm not sure if I could disagree with him.
We have just three games left. Unfortunately, they're all against the Braves. At least there's the possibility that I could get worked up about tonight's game. If the Phillies were facing the Brewers or Rockies or Padres, there would be essentially zero chance of that. The Braves are just so hatable.
