C'mon Get Happy: Phillies at Rangers Game Thread, March 31, 2014

I bet you thought you were going to see here a video featuring the classic jazz standard "Get Happy", which has been sung by such legends as Ella Fitzgerald and Judy Garland. Nope! Instead, please enjoy the theme song to the CLASSIC 70s musical family TV sitcom, The Partridge Family. Take it away, Keith!

Keith Partridge and his cult-like singing family are right. Come on, get happy! It's Opening Day! This song makes me want to travel around to Phillies games in a psychedelic bus singing songs. Doesn't it make you want to do that? No? Just me? Ok then.

Today, Cliff Lee is facing off against Tanner Scheppers. If the Phillies are going to beat the Rangers, today would be a good day to do it. Scheppers is 27 years old and this is his very first major league start today. I've been nervous before, but I've never been as nervous as Tanner Scheppers probably is right now.
