This series in Colorado should be an interesting one for the pitching staff. Just as they seem to find a smidgen of stability, they have to play three games at Coors Field. Though if the offense benefits, it might be worth the trade-off.
Jonathan Pettibone is starting tonight for the Phillies, and he's pitched in Coors once before. It was June of last year, and Pettibone gave up seven runs (six earned) in three innings. Good times. Good, good times. Well, this is the perfect opportunity for Pettibone to improve up on his last Coors Field start.
