Today, the Phillies finally open the 2014 season at Citizens Bank Park with this delayed game against the Brewers.
The Phillies may have gotten shellacked by the Cubs on Sunday, but that doesn't mean diddly squat today as they take on Kyle Lohse and the Brewers. The Phillies will counter with... Kyle Kendrick. Kendrick's last outing against the Rangers was... not terrible. THERE. I SAID IT. Seriously, that was hard. He went seven innings and gave up five hits and just one run, striking out four and walking one. If he can do that again today, I'll consider not booing him loudly every time his name is mentioned, or whenever I hear or see or think about him.
Come on, Kyle! That's quite the incentive to not suck! I *enjoy* hating on you, so if you do well, you will take away my enjoyment. You know you wanna do that!
