He's back. I think we've all missed Rupp.

Lehigh Valley 7, Scranton/WB 1

Barry Enright - 9 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, BB, 2 K, 7 GB, 7 FB
Tyson Gillies - 2 for 5, 2B, K
Tyler Henson - 2 for 5, R, 3 K
Darin Ruf - 1 for 5, R, 2 K
Jim Murphy - 2 for 4, 2 R, 2B, HR, K
Cameron Rupp - 1 for 1, 2 R, 2B, RBI, 3 BB
Steve Susdorf - 3 for 4, R, 2B, 3 RBI

Lehigh Valley extends their winning streak to 5 games. In those 5 games they have outscored their opponent 27-11. Barry Enright has his best start of the season with Cameron Rupp back behind the plate. Rupp picks up where he left off. As long as he stays healthy, we should see Rupp on the big league squad at some point this season. Tyson Gillies with 4 multi-hit games in his last 8 games. Ruf continues to struggle on his rehab trail. It might be a week or so longer until we see Ruf ready for a callup. Jim Murphy with his 5th homer.

Jupiter 6, Clearwater 5

Miguel A. Gonzalez - 5 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, K, 5 GB, 6 FB
Luis Paulino - 3.1 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, K, 6 GB, 2 FB, WP (pickoff error)
Brian Pointer - 2 for 5, 2 K, 2 SB
KC Serna - 0 for 5, 2 K
Peter Lavin - 1 for 5, R, 2B (throwing error) (outfield assist, 1B)
Andrew Knapp - 2 for 4, R, 2 K, SB
Harold Martinez - 2 for 4, R, 2 RBI, K
Logan Moore - 2 for 4, SB
Nick Ferdinand - 1 for 4, R, 2B, 2 RBI

Yes, the Threshers lose again, this one after leading 5-4 going into the top of the 9th. Lino Martinez would blow the save and lose the game, giving up the tying and go ahead run. Most importantly about this game of course, is the professional debut of MAG! He is apparently still a starter and did fairly well. I haven't seen radar readings, but I know in XST he was reaching mid 90's. We will have to be patient with MAG and come to grips that he will likely not even sniff the big leagues this season. It will be a miracle at all if he becomes a big league pitcher at all in his career. A little worried about Knapp so far. I know he is coming back from Tommy John surgery, but is showing little plate discipline (1 walk to 10 strikeouts). That will certainly need to improve.
