Daily Show's Jon Stewart Uses Ryne Sandberg's Shake Shack Story in Memorable Anti-Philadelphia Rant

The Daily Show's Jon Stewart went on a memorable and hilarious anti-Philadelphia rant that began with the story that Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg (oh, and Lucas Duda, too) claimed that the Shake Shack in Citi Field made them ill.

This led to some more memorable hijinks, led by Phillies blogger Zoo with Roy, who wrote a fake letter from Sandberg to Shake Shack that fooled ESPN business analyst Darren Rovell.

But the comedy didn't end there. In a bit about extinction, Stewart, an unabashed Mets fan, started with the Sandberg story and then ran roughshod down I-95, laying Philadelphia waste, though in a knowingly insincere way.

You'll want to tune in right around the 4:00 mark.
