The Mets and Phillies are staging quite the battle for fourth place at the moment. And now, the two teams will battle it out to see which one can stay out of the basement and which one can potentially make themselves legitimate players in the NL East.

Phils' rookie David Buchanan will get his second Major League start to kick off the rare five-game series. He earned a victory in his Major League debut last week against the Dodgers, but lasted just 66 pitches in the process. He'll be opposed by Mets' prospect Zack Wheeler, although he's struggled in his 10 starts this year, going 1-5 with a 4.63 ERA and a WHIP of 1.53.

The Phils' lineup offers no surprises tonight. Ryan Howard, fresh off his second straight game of 4+ RBIs, looks to stay hot against the young Mets right-hander.
