The Phillies will win at least two of three against the Padres, which is good news. Not just because winning is good, but because the Padres are the opposite of good, and beating them means that they're at least better than the Padres.
Kyle Kendrick is starting today, hoping to get his second win of the season. We'll get see what happens when Kendrick, who enjoys vomiting up runs and has a 4.44 career ERA against the Padres, meets a team hitting .216 collectively. I mean, something's gotta give.
