Maikel Franco hits a two-run blast against Nationals prospect A.J. Cole in the 4th inning to get the rally going after being down 4-0. The Iron Pigs would claw they're way back via a throwing error off a Bogusevic steal of 3rd base in the bottom of the 8th. Rodriguez with another middling start and has walked 7 in 9 innings pitched. Murray picks up his first save and has thrown 5.1 shutout innings in 2015.

Ben Lively pitches a quality start in this Phillies org debut. Lively was acquired in the Marlon Byrd trade. The Fightin's went up in the top of the 8th via RBI single from Stassi and a sac bunt from Perkins. Ogando would enter the game, issue a one-out walk and serve up a two-run walkoff HR to Jack Murphy. Positives remain Roman Quinn, who was once again in full form. Brock Stassi is also surging, batting .400 to begin the season (20 at bats).

Willians Astudillo - 2 for 4, 2B, HR, K (throwing error)
Matt Imohf improves a tad over his 1st outing, striking out twice as many batters! If you have any radar reports on Imhof, I'd love to hear them considering his reported FB velocity wasn't optimal in his last start. Ridenhour has 6 strikeouts in 5 IP over two outings. Astudillo hits his 1st HR and started at catcher last night. Knapp added another two hits to boast his average to .346 (26 at bats).

Grenny Cumana - 0 for 4, K
Elniery Garcia with an impressive 2015 debut. According to Jay Floyd (at phoulballz.com), Garcia was hovering around 88-89 and topping around 90 on the radar gun. Yes, you read that right, Carlos Tocci hit a grand slam in this game. Expectations are quickly rising and will reach WIP-apex if this continues into the week. Tocci is slashing .391/.500/.609 through 23 at bats with 3 stolen bases. This has the potential for a very fun season.
