Game 17 Open Thread: Braves at Phillies

I'm so tired of the NL East I could vomit.

Honestly, the game scheduler does know that there are other divisions besides the NL East, right? I'm so tired of the NL East teams. Well, I'm tired of watching the Phillies lose to NL East teams. I want to watch the Phillies lose to other teams!

Whee! I'm gonna get into the spirit of this circus clown team if it kills me! You hear me, Phillies?! You will not kill my spirit!

All Ryne Sandberg has to do is shuffle deck chairs on this baseball Titanic, and he is doing that. Today, I won't criticize him for being terrible and making the Phillies worse. Not today. But probably tomorrow.

Aaron Harang has been better than anyone could have expected. That the Phillies continue to find these half decent older pitchers and squeeze a few drops of talent out of them is either a sign that the front office has at least a few brains, or incredible luck. You be the judge.
